WHO WE ARE?

We are an international group from different European countries (Ireland, Portugal and Spain) with the commitment to integrate the topics of wildfires into the curricular education. We have the aim to prepare young generations to face the uncertainties of wildfires within a climate change frame.

Pau Costa Foundation

PCF is a global non-profit entity focused on wildfires management and prevention. PCF facilitates the exchange between researchers, stakeholders and civil society with a vocation to disseminate knowledge and make projects real.

Flagship educational project: MeFiTu

The University of Lisboa is a public research university in Lisbon, and the largest university in Portugal. It was founded in 2013, from the merger of two previous public universities located in Lisbon, the former University of Lisbon (1911–2013) and the Technical University of Lisbon (1930–2013).

Flagship educational project: fire education platform within the framework of the European project FIRE-RES.

UOC

UOC is an online university that offers bachelor degrees, master’s degrees, postgraduate courses and language courses. Likewise, CareNet is a research group of the UOC’s Interdisciplinary Internet Institute (IN3) that studies the social and material configuration of care and response in crisis situations in the Network Society.
